Partnering Together for the Church in Poland
For more than 70 years, Polish Christian Ministries has had the privilege of walking alongside Christian churches and leaders throughout Poland.
We believe lasting ministry happens through relationships and the local church. Rather than simply doing ministry in Poland, PCM seeks to do ministry with Polish Christians, pastors, churches, and ministry leaders.
Through partnerships between believers in Poland and the United States, we work together to strengthen churches, encourage leaders, share the Gospel, and help communities encounter the hope of Jesus.
Our Mission
We assist Polish Christians in becoming healthy, growing, self-supporting, and reproducing congregations.
We pursue that mission through three primary commitments:
Planting Churches
We support Polish leaders and congregations as they share the Gospel, establish new churches, and reach new communities.
Providing Resources
We help provide practical resources for ministry, including pastoral support, leadership development, church facilities, camps, special projects, and other needs identified by our Polish partners.
Building Relationships
Relationships are at the heart of PCM. We connect churches, pastors, individuals, and ministry teams from Poland and the United States for prayer, encouragement, service, and long-term partnership.
1954
Matt James becomes Executive Director-Elect, continuing PCM’s relationship-driven ministry while strengthening partnerships and helping share the story of God’s work in Poland in fresh and engaging ways.
2026
Wayne Murphy becomes Executive Director and continues expanding PCM's ministry in Poland and the support base in the States.
1994
Dave Hatfield becomes Executive Director, continuing PCM's investment in churches, pastors, ministry leaders, and long-term relationships.
2012
Our Story
Polish Christian Ministries was founded in 1954 by Paul Bajko with a desire to strengthen Christian churches and leaders in Poland.
For decades, PCM has helped connect Christians in the United States with the Church in Poland through prayer, financial support, ministry resources, pastoral encouragement, and personal relationships.
Today, PCM continues building on that foundation, serving alongside the Christian Fellowship churches throughout Poland and strengthening partnerships between Christians in Poland and the United States.
The methods and opportunities may change, but the heart remains the same:
Serving alongside the Church in Poland so that more people may know and follow Jesus.
Paul Bajko begins the work at Eastern Christian Institute, which later becomes Eastern Christian College in Bel Air, MD. He serves as Executive Director for four decades.
